Dr. Mathew Raphael Johnson discusses Johann Fichte. Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814) was a seminal figure in both German idealism and German nationalism. In today’s talk, the topic is his (1800) The Closed Commercial State. This was Fichte’s attempt to challenge the liberal imperialism of the British empire and the usury it used to maintain control both at home and abroad. It is an early National Socialist attempt to regulate the chaos and violence of liberal capitalism, which is just usury and rent seeking with a national and social conception of the state.

Yesterday, Sven Longshanks, AKA James Allchurch, was jailed for two and a half years after being found guilty of ten counts of distributing material with the intention of inciting racial hatred.

Sven runs a website called Radio Albion that focuses mainly on delving into historical topics. During the trial, the jury was told by prosecutor Jonathan Rees that the podcasts were "highly racist, anti-Semitic and white supremacist in nature".
