Welcome to qnect.net, a content sharing platform and associated services. qnect.net is focused on the truth and is intended to be a beacon and bastion for the truth, including purveyors of truth as well as those seeking truth. To that end, the goal is to provide a platform where people can express their ideas freely, without the fear of censorship, retribution or retaliation.
Freedom of expression is not without limits though and in order to achieve our goal, as a community, it is important that we have a set of shared standards for how we treat one another and the type of content that is shared.
These community guidelines give an overview of the behavior that is expected from the qnect.net community. By continuing to use the site, you are agreeing with and accepting these community guidelines in their entirety.
These guidelines are provided as a set of principles which outline the core expectations for all members of the community. In addition to the Principles, the community guidelines also detail the Policies we follow when dealing with breaches of the Principles.
Censorship involves the suppression of speech or public communication and raises issues of freedom of speech which, in the United States of America, is protected by the First Amendment and the United States.
While we believe in free speech, we also believe in common courtesy and respect of others in order to promote and achieve civil discourse among the qnect.net Community. Therefore, any individuals or posts that fail to abide by those basic ideals may be limited or removed.
qnect.net is about the free expression of ideas because it is only in such an environment that truth can be expressed. All participants have the same opportunity to express themselves as long as it does not involve criminal activity or impede the rights of others in the community.
All members of the community and wider society should be treated as equals with the same rights, regardless of their race, age, religion, sex or any other arbitrary attribute or self assigned designation.
We do not grant ourselves special voting power above or beyond any other qnect.net account holder, our likes and views count the same as yours. We endeavor to apply the rules evenly and fairly, when someone breaks the rules they are subject to the same consequences as every other member of the qnect.net community
Any actions we or the community take against the members of the community need to be completely transparent, subject to appeal and it is qnect.net's responsibility to make sure this is the case.
We expect you to show respect and decency towards fellow members of the community and others.
